In Loving Memory of my Mother
My Mom was very special to me. After she died. I wanted to keep her near me. As a
glass artist I decided to embody my mother’s cremation ashes in a work of art -
I keep my Mom in a purple heart form. For many months I carried her around in my pocket. Now she rests in my kitchen window near the coffee pot. I can’t call her on the phone anymore, but I can have coffee with her. Every morning, I smile and think how honored I am to have had my Mom in my life.
