My Mom was very special to me. After she died, I wanted to keep her near me. As a glass artist, I decided to embody my mother's cremation ashes in a work of art - a SoulBurst.
I keep my Mom in a purple heart form. For many months, I carried her around in my pocket. Now she rests in my kitchen window by the coffee pot. I can't call her on the phone anymore, but I can have coffee with her. Every morning, I smile at how honored I was to have Mom in my life.
